500 g šparoga
500 ml vrućeg povrtnog temeljca od 1 kocke
2 žlice maslinovog ulja
50 g maslaca, podijeljeno (20 g + 30 g)
1 veliki luk, sjeckani

1. Šparoge oprati i pripremiti*, vrhove odrezati i odložiti. Stapke narezati na manje komade dužine oko 3 cm.

6. Povrtni temeljac postepeno dodavati riži. Lagano kuhati, oko 15 minuta, uz stalno miješanje kako bi riža upila svu tekućinu (paziti da se ne prekuha). Malo temeljca sačuvati za slijedeći korak pripreme.
